Donate!

Please give a small tax-deductible donation to help N-Map launch.

Adam with communityN-Map is operating with almost no overhead, so your donation will be extremely efficient in furthering N-Map’s substantive work. It will directly support our efforts to improve the health and protect the rights of Haitian political prisoners in pre-trial detention, and to protect vulnerable slum communities in Nigeria from forced eviction. And within several months, we will send you the media that we have produced—concrete evidence of the work that you helped make happen!

DonateNow

We are asking for $25 now, or a $10-a-month recurring donation (which can be canceled at any time). You may, of course, give more or less—every dollar helps. If you wish to support N-Map with a large donation of $1,000 or more, please contact Adam Stofsky at: adam@newmediaadvocacy.org.

Please donate online or send a check made out to “New Media Advocacy Project.” To find out where you can mail your donation, please e-mail Adam Stofsky at adam@newmediaadvocacy.org.

Please join the N-Map network. We will send you occasional updates and news about volunteer opportunities, and will notify you when we are releasing media to the public.

Volunteer!

N-Map needs volunteer lawyers, organizers, producers, videographers, editors, sound engineers, programmers, Web activists, and content writers. N-Map can get you involved in cutting-edge human rights and social justice work around the world and in the United States. If you wish to learn more, please contact Adam Stofsky at adam@newmediaadvocacy.org with a description of who you are, your skills, your interests (optional), and a résumé.

Participate!

man speakingN-Map is not just a client services organization, it is a community of lawyers and advocates. You can help N-Map grow in your downtime at home and work by contributing to our content and spreading the word.

1. Comment on our blog.

2. Watch N-Map’s media and send it to your friends. Please spread the word!

3. Contribute to N-Map’s “Innovative Lawyering Wiki” (coming soon). [What is a wiki? Find out here.] N-Map is starting a wiki to centralize knowledge on innovations in lawyering and advocacy. There are no rules about what can go into the wiki—it will include innovative legal theories and arguments. For example, using the Alien Tort Statute to litigate human rights cases in United States courts—even older cases like Marbury v. Madison were wildly innovative in their day—they will go in the wiki as well. It will also include techniques for winning cases—such as “day in the life” videos in tort cases. The wiki will go live in a few months.
